67’s going green on March 18
The Ottawa 67’s are extending St. Patrick’s Day celebrations through Saturday for their penultimate game of the OHL regular season. The Barber Poles will be dyed green when they host the Oshawa General on March 18 at 2 p.m. at The Arena at TD Place, donning green jerseys for the full game.
“St. Paddy’s at TD Place is going to be a lot of fun,” said 67’s Governor Jeff “Seamus” O’Hunt. “It is going to be a very green, it’s going to be great and we want fans to bring the noise to help our boys lock-down a playoff spot.”
The 67’s green infused jerseys will be available for purchase (limited quantities) at the team store at TD Place and at the arena kiosk. Game worn jerseys will also be made available for purchase. Fans will be able to continue their St. Paddy’s Day fun with green beers for the adults and green ice creams for the kids available at concessions.
The game day fun doesn’t stop there!
The ever-popular wiener dog race will take place during the 1st intermission and Hometown Hockey is on-site all weekend with plenty of hockey fun for all at the Aberdeen Pavilion, including a visit with the Stanley Cup on Saturday.
The 67’s begin a crucial week closing out the OHL regular season with three straight home games starting Wednesday (March 15) when they host Peterborough in a special March Break matinee at 3 p.m. Fans can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the 67’s when they host Oshawa on Saturday followed by the Hamilton Bulldogs on Sunday (March 19) on Fan Appreciation Day.
