Recently announcing their 2020 “burn the ships” world tour for KING & Country will be stopping inside The Arena at TD Place on Thursday, March 12^th.

The title “burn the ships” was inspired by a Spanish explorer who boldly landed his ships on enemy shores without having had any knowledge of what was in store. He fiercely forged new paths and that is what band-mates Luke and Joel believe that they are accomplishing with their collection of new music.

Since releasing their debut album “Crave” in 2012, for KING & Country have made huge strides in the music industry. Winning New Artist of the Year at the 2013 Dove Awards where they also received six nominations propelled them to top the charts at #1 with their hit song “Priceless” in 2016.

Several years later the Nashville based pop duo have risen to success, recently winning awards for both nominated categories at the 2020 GRAMMY’s. The duo won Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance / Song for their outstanding collaboration with world renowned icon Dolly Parton on the hit track “God Only Knows,” and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for their full-length masterwork burn the ships. With these two wins, for KING & COUNTRY now have a total of four GRAMMY awards.
