TD Place Monthly: March

It’s another packed month at TD Place, filling your calendar with fun events. Whether you’re into sports or something else, we’ve got plenty for you and the whole family to do.

U SPORTS Men’s Hockey Championship

It’s the biggest event on the U SPORTS Men’s Hockey schedule: the U CUP. Teams from around the country will travel to Ottawa looking to hoist the Canadian Collegiate crown and call themselves champions.

U Cup Hopefuls Feeling Motivated by TD Place Appearance

From March 20th to 23rd, you’ll see some of the best hockey U SPORTS has to offer, featuring many names you’ll remember from their days in junior hockey. By virtue of hosting, the University of Ottawa has already punched their ticket, but who will be next? Stay tuned.

You can get your tickets here.

Lansdowne Farmers’ Market

Every Sunday during March, the Aberdeen Pavilion becomes your one-stop shop for the freshest seasonal produce, meat & dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, crafts, and more.

Everything is authentic (no resellers) and produced within 100 kilometres of Ottawa.

Ottawa REDBLACKS

The REDBLACKS roster is moving closer and closer to completion, and excitement is bubbling over. The likes of Justin Hardy and Adarius Pickett are back in the fold for 2025, but there are some fresh faces to look forward to, including William Stanback and Geno Lewis.

With the bulk of free agency in the rearview, General Manager Shawn Burke and his team have turned their attention to March’s events, namely the CFL Combine, which will take place from March 21st to 23rd.

Tickets for the 2025 season are already on sale. The REDBLACKS will kick off their season in Saskatchewan on June 5th and host their home opener against the Montreal Alouettes on Friday, June 13th.

Ottawa 67’s

March is make or break for the 67’s, who look to scratch and claw their way to the OHL postseason. Only nine games remain in their season, three of which will come inside The Arena at TD Place, and it’s now or never.

All four home games will be big, and you won’t want to miss them. You can cheer the boys on March 8th against the Peterborough Petes, on the 14th against the Oshawa Generals, and on the 16th against the Kingston Frontenacs.

When Kingston comes to town, the 67’s will celebrate St. Paddy’s Day, complete with special uniforms.

Ottawa Charge

The PWHL season is coming down to the wire once again, and the Charge have been gaining steam in the playoff push. Home wins over the Montreal Victoire and the New York Sirens at the end of February have them just two points back of the Minnesota Frost for the final postseason position.

The Charge will enjoy home cooking in three of their six games in March, squaring off against the aforementioned Frost in a home-and-home series (March 11th), and key games against the Boston Fleet (Mar 15), and the Sirens (Mar 25th).

Atlético Ottawa

Atlético is just over a month away from kicking off the 2025 Canadian Premiere League season, which is set to begin on Saturday, April 5th, when they host the HFX Wanderers.

The roster is beginning to take shape. Fan favourites like Nathan Ingham, Ballou Tabla, and Alberto Zapater are back in the fold, and new additions such as Monty Patterson and Brett Levis have been added to form a promising lineup.

Ottawa BlackJacks

Before you know it, the BlackJacks will be back on the court, bringing high-flying Canadian Elite Basketball League action to The Arena at TD Place for another season.

On Sunday, May 18th, they’ll tip off against the Niagara River Lions. Keep your eyes open for roster updates to see who will join forward Isaih Moore on this season’s squad.

Ottawa Rapid FC

The Northern Super League will make history later this spring, bringing professional women’s soccer to the Great White North. In January, the club announced the signing of four-time Olympian Desiree Scott, adding to the roster that already includes Miranda Smith, Liv Scott, Emily Amano,
Florence Belzile, Melanie Forbes, and Julia Benati.

Kicking off the season on April 27th against AFC Toronto, will you be a part of history? Secure your tickets.
